Company details and history:Guy started working in his dad's construction company, Henley Construction, in his school holidays when he was 13 years old. He continued to work for his dad until the age of 20. In the years he spent in Henley construction he picked up the know how of the construction industry and the workings of how to run a business. He then went into the corporate industry for about 7 years. At the age of 27 he joined Century Retail Developments and ran their Maintenance division and new projects side at various shopping centers around the country. Guy then went on his own to start Out of Africa Developments in 2003 with his wife Tracy. In 2007, Gaye and Ernest Corbett from Century Retail Developments joined the company as 50 % shareholders. Since the founding of the company, Out of Africa Developments as taken on a number of projects, all of which have all been unique and challenging. The present project includes 16 stands in the Carlswald North Lifestyle Estate. Out of Africa Developments continues to grow and build its reputation in the industry as a successful contributing factor to the construction industry.
